Kali is an ancient word used as a general term for all the Filipino Martial Arts. Kali is a weapons based martial art but its empty hand systems feature some of the most sophisticated techniques and training methods in existence.  The weapons training in Kali features single and double sticks, single and double knives, stick and dagger as well as flexible weapons and weapons of opportunity.  Kali is known for its flow drills that are both fun and give a real feel for the movement and speed of combat.  You will learn to perform techniques such as counters, disarms, sweeps and locks as well as the empty hand techniques.  Kali, like its modern cousin JKD, is an interpretive art. This means that each student will come out of the training slightly different and with the freedom to adapt the art to their own bodies.

Jeet Kune Do (JKD) is the Art and Philosophy of Bruce Lee.  JKD is primarily an open hand system and works on the use of different 'tools' for different situations.  These situations are broken down into the different ranges of combat, Kicking, Punching, Trapping and Grappling with the techniques flowing smoothly between each range.  It is referred to as a "style without style".  Unlike traditional martial arts, JKD is not fixed or patterned, and is a philosophy with guiding thoughts.  Jun Fan Gung Fu was Bruce Lee's innovative combination of different martial arts with a set system of drills and curriculum.  Jun Fan was Bruce Lee's Cantonese name.

Maphilindo Silat is the compilation of all of the various systems of Silat that Guro Dan Inosanto studied under masters from Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia.  He created this art to honor the innovations and unique strengths and insights of his instructors. Silat is a comprehensive martial art that can be traced all the way back to Alexander the Great. Its ancestral art, called Silek, was first learned and proliferated through the island of Sumatra by members of Alexander's forces.  It was later disseminated by the ancestral Malayo-Polynesian people and has found common expression in many of the other arts that evolved among the populations that spread and flourished into modern day.

Muay Thai, translated into English as Thai Boxing, is the national sport of Thailand.  Our Muay Thai program focuses on proper form and technique while giving you a great workout. You will learn not only all the body mechanics, footwork, punches, kicks, knees and elbows, but also all of the defensive and counter moves. Muay Thai training methods develop devastating power, speed and superb cardio-vascular endurance as well as fighting spirit. Muay Thai training is also quite safe thanks to the sophisticated pad training that evolved to keep fighters healthy between fights. Muay Thai has also been proven very effective outside the ring in self-defense situations as well as military and law enforcement activities.

Our Submission Wrestling and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) program is a combination of wrestling, judo, boxing, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, Filipino Martial Arts, Jeet Kune Do and a variety of other systems and styles.  In this program, we train to strike, clinch, takedown, and submit on the ground in either a sport or self-defense environment. This program blends different systems and styles just like the other programs that we offer to make the individual a well rounded martial artist with or without weapons.

Our Kids Martial Arts (KMA) program are for ages 8 to 12.  This program is broken down  into three different classes like the Adult/Teen programs: 1) Muay Thai/Kickboxing,                2) Submission Wrestling/BJJ, and                    3) Kali/JKD blend.
